1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EcoSort India mobile application ("App") operated by Aakri Technologies ("Company", "we", "us").

By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 4 years old, and if you are under 18, that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

EcoSort India is a free educational mobile game that teaches waste segregation practices aligned with the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) guidelines for India. The App includes:

• Gameplay involving sorting waste items into correct bins
• Educational fun facts about waste management
• An optional leaderboard for registered adult users
• 50 levels across 5 themed worlds

3. User Accounts

You may use EcoSort India as a guest (anonymous account) or register with an email address. By registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your password confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Age Restrictions

The App is available to users of all ages, subject to the following conditions:

• Under 13: Parental consent is required before account creation. No behavioral data is collected without confirmed parental consent.
• 13–17: Age is self-declared via birth year. No public leaderboard, no marketing. Parental consent is requested.
• 18+: Full access with optional analytics and leaderboard participation upon consent.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in EcoSort India, including game design, educational content, graphics, and code, is owned by or licensed to Aakri Technologies. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App
• Reverse-engineer or decompile the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes without written permission
• Use automated tools or bots to manipulate game scores

6. Leaderboard and User Content

The leaderboard is available to registered users aged 18+ who have provided explicit consent. By participating in the leaderboard:

• Your display name and score will be publicly visible
• Your city may be shown if you have given city-visibility consent
• We reserve the right to remove scores obtained through cheating or manipulation

7. In-App Currency

EcoSort India uses virtual currencies (EcoCoins, GreenGems, SwachhPoints) that have no real-world monetary value. These cannot be exchanged for cash. SwachhPoints may be redeemable for partner coupons for adult users — subject to separate partner terms.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that the educational content is complete or current. Waste segregation guidelines may vary by municipality — always check with your local authority.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aakri Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed ₹500.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [City, State], India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.
